The Open Day was held on 5.12.2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Open Day was organized to raise the level of recognizing and understanding the needs and problems faced by persons with intellectual disability and to raise awareness for the positive contributions arising from their inclusion in everyday life of the community. The activities performed in the day center PORAKA Skopje were presented during the Open Day, and the guests had the opportunity to socialize with the beneficiaries of the day center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the Open Day, and on the occasion of 3rd of December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Republic Center \u2013 PORAKA presented acknowledgements to individuals, institutions and organisations that gave their contribution for realisation of the programme activities of PORAKA. Acknowledgements were given to: Mr.Koce Trajanovski, Mayor of City of Skopje; Department for social, child and health protection, Sector for Public Affairs \u2013 City of Skopje and Faculty of Fine Arts \u2013 Skopje as an expression of appreciation for the cooperation and support of the programme activities of the Day Center for persons with intellectual disability \u2013 PORAKA Skopje. Moreover, acknowledgement was given to Makedonski Telekom and T-Mobile Macedonia as an expression of appreciation for the cooperation and support for equipping the social service \u2013 day center for
