The Day Centre for persons with moderate and severe intellectual disability above 18 years of age in Radovish observed 20-year jubilee on 2nd of November 2022. In presence of friends and supporters on local level, we remembered the beginnings and the path taken to reach the today\u2019s modern Day Centre.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe beginnings were difficult, we started in old premises with not so good working conditions. But, thanks to the support of Municipality of Radovish, we got this building and together with the Republic Centre \u2013 PORAKA and our supporters, we have turned it into what it is today, a modern Day Centre with excellent working conditions\u201d, said Tatjana Kostadinova, engaged person at the Day Centre.<\/p>\n

\u0422he Mayor of Municipality of Radovish, Aco Ristov, and the former Director of Mine Bucim, Nikolajco Nikolov, addressed the participants on the occasion of the 20-year jubilee. On behalf of the mines Bucim and Borov Dol, the press-secretry, Kristina Krsteva, emphasized that they continued to support the day centre this year as well by donating funds for facade reconstruction.<\/p>\n

As a token of appreciation, Mrs. Violeta Dimoska received Acknowledgement for pioneering the creation of the social services that function within the networks of the Republic Centre \u2013 PORAKA.<\/p>\n\n\n
