The Republic Centre for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA and the Faculty of Philosophy at the Saint Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje on 16.3.2018 signed a Memorandum for Cooperation. With this memorandum both sides will strive for mutual exchange of information, knowledge and experiences in areas of joint interest. Furthermore, they will provide quality services, as well as participation, cooperation and realization of joint projects. PORAKA will provide continuous access and support to students from the Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation, and also the use of materials and methods for working with children with disabilities that are available at the online platform www.early-inclusion.eu developed within the project “Early Inclusion through Learning from Each Other” supported by ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union. At the same time, PORAKA, within its possibilities and activities, will enable certain number of students to perform practical work in its social services.
On the other hand, the Faculty of Philosophy will enable the Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation to conduct practical exercises in order to enrich the curriculum within the topics mentioned above, which will contribute to practical knowledge and experiences. Also, it will provide the use of certain premises at the Faculty of Philosophy for conducting certain activities like promotions, workshops etc.
