The working premises of the Center for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA Bitola and the Association for autism “Marko Polo Explorer” were officially opened on 2nd of April 2016.
The premises have been provided by Municipality of Bitola, and the Ministry of labor and Social Policy allocated funds for renovation, adaptation and equipment. A social club for persons with intellectual disability and educational center for persons with autism shall function in separate rooms.
“I believe that it is very important since they are our citizens that need a lot of love and patience. Municipality of Bitola made one significant step with these two associations and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. It is about children and persons for whom we have to do everything in order for their talents to be expressed”, said the Mayor of Municipality of Bitola, Vladimir Taleski on the official opening of the working premises.
