The Faculty of Fine Arts – Graphic Art and the Republic Center for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA have established successful cooperation.
As a result of this cooperation, an exhibition of graphics was organized made by beneficiaries of the day centers – PORAKA Skopje with support of students and professors from this faculty. The subject of the exhibition was “The Face of Our World”, and it represented a final activity of the realized workshops of the beneficiaries of the day centers of PORAKA in Skopje with students and professors from the faculty of Fine Arts – Graphic Art, during the first half of 2016.
The aim of this exhibition is to present and highlight the possibilities and potentials of persons with intellectual disability. Also, it contributes towards direct influence in breaking down prejudice faced by these persons.
The official opening of the exhibition was on 10.05.2016 (Tuesday) in the premises of the Faculty of Fine Arts, in Suli an – the Old Bazaar. Representatives from different organizations, associates of the Republic Center – PORAKA and the Faculty of Fine Arts, took part at the opening as well as beneficiaries of the day centers of PORAKA and their parents, and other citizens.
The exhibition was opened in the period 10 – 13 May 2016.
