One of the programme activities at the asocial services – day centres of Republic Centre – PORAKA is training the beneficiaries to prepare meals, in order to be more independent in everyday life. It is in that direction, and on the occasion of Easter Holidays that culinary workshop was organized at the premises of the Day centre – PORAKA Skopje in Kapistec for the beneficiaries of the both day centres. To our great pleasure, the famous Chef Marc De Jong accepted the invitation to run the culinary workshop.
This workshop flowed in a great atmosphere, with lots of laughter, but also working in the kitchen and preparing Mark’s specialities. The beneficiaries as assistants, and also the engaged personnel at the day centres, had the possibility to learn “small” secrets of the great Chef. With hopes that this cooperation will continue in the future, we are grateful to Mark for the wonderful day.
