Partnership of the Republic Center – PORAKA in European projectsActivities within the project Early Inclusion through Learning from Each Other
The Republic Centre for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disability – PORAKA continues as partner organization in a consortium of 10 partners in European project titled “Early Inclusion through Learning from Each Other” supported by the Austrian Agency for International cooperation within the EU Programme ERASMUS +. The project is focused on increased knowledge and shared methods relating to preschool age children with disability or being at risk of disability. The project aims to transfer information, concrete methodologies and to assess competencies.
In the past period, PORAKA was in direct communication with the consortium of partner organizations led by the Austrian organization S.I.N.N. – Evaluation. Within the project, the ongoing activities continued to be realized in accordance to the schedule. The PORAKA team worked on advancing the tools provided by this project. More precisely, the activities focused on the tool: Inclusion Method Market, which is self-organized methodological online exchange market-place. The activities referred to adapting and arranging the online platform www.early-inclusion.eu. aimed for exchange of experiences among the professionals and positive examples and practices from the work with persons with intellectual disability were posted on the web page. Also, numerous activities are being performed regarding translation and adaptation of briefing materials.
The project partners met in Hamburg in the period 22 – 23.11.2017. This was the last meeting of the project partners. The participants discussed the activities taken within the project, as well as the future activities foreseen for realization. Additionally, the project partners had the possibility to discuss the preparations for the final report of the project activities that needs to be submitted to the Austrian Agency for international cooperation.
