The cooperation with the Institute for Social Work and Social Policy at the Faculty of Philosophy – Skopje continues to be successfully implemented in the past period. Students from this higher education institution had their practice within “Social work with persons with disability” course at the social services of the Republic Centre – PORAKA in Skopje. They had the opportunity to learn about the social worker’s working tasks at a social service for persons with intellectual disability. Also, the students were introduced to the rights of persons with disability within the social protection system, and to cooperate with the users directly. Additionally, they prepared Findings and Opinion for some of the users, supported by the social workers at the Day Centres.
The cooperation with the Faculty of Pedagogue at the University of St.Kliment Ohridski – Bitola continued in the past period as well. Students from the Study Programme Social and Rehabilitation Pedagogy regularly perform their practice at the Social Club of the Republic Centre – PORAKA in Bitola. They are actively involved in the work of the Social Club and participate in the activities with the users.
Furthermore, two students from the same Faculty held their student practice at the Day Centre of the Republic Centre – PORAKA in Prilep.
